Pink in the Park: Pink Beats | April 2 & 9

Your happy hour just got a cherry blossom twist in National Landing! Enjoy a three-part music series featuring top local talent, spring-inspired food and drinks from Water Park kiosks, and a festive atmosphere with blossom-themed décor, lawn games, and special giveaways April 2 and 9 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Free with RSVP.

Pink in the Park: Art of Pink | April 10

Step into an after-hours celebration at Metropolitan Park, as it transforms into an indoor/outdoor art showcase. Guests can browse BLOOM, an exhibition featuring 50+ local artists showcasing cherry blossom inspired artwork, enjoy Japanese and pan-Asian bites and sips from local vendors such as Fat Fish and Bar Chinois, and catch an exhilarating live paint battle with Secret Walls. The Museum of Contemporary Art Arlington’s Innovation Studio and Amazon’s HQ2 lobbies will be open as an exhibition space with art activities for guests, and DJ Joyce Lim will also be on-site with live beats on April 10 from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m.

Blossom: Celebrate Spring in Ballston | April 9-12

Celebrate spring in Ballston with Blossom, a vibrant, photo-worthy experience designed to bring the community together and highlight local businesses. From Thursday, April 9 through Sunday, April 12, visitors are invited to explore a series of floral-inspired installations created by local businesses at Ballston Quarter – M1 Level.

National Cherry Blossom Festival | Through April 12

Experience a four-week extravaganza (March 20 - April 13) filled with food, fun and culture throughout Arlington and the capital region. Celebrate the National Cherry Blossom Festival, when the delicate blooms turn Washington, D.C.’s Tidal Basin into a lovely sea of pink. Keep your camera close at hand to capture the unforgettable sight of all those Instagram-worthy flowers.

Cherry Blossom Tea at Santé | Through April 12

Experience the magic of D.C.'s most captivating season with Santé's limited-time afternoon tea. Savor their unique Japanese Cherry Blossom-inspired tea sandwiches, pastries, warm scones, and a variety of luxury loose-leaf teas, all complemented by a glass of sparkling wine. Tea times are Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 12:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. through April 12.

The Revolutionary War 250th Commemoration: A Walking Tour with the National Army Museum | April 10

Join Arlington National Cemetery (ANC) and the National Museum of the United States Army (NMUSA) on Friday, April 10 from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. for a free, two-hour guided walking tour at ANC to explore graves and memorials connected to the 250th anniversary of American independence. Hop Into Spring

Memorial Arboretum Walking Tour: Arbor Day | April 17 & 24

The vibrant reds, yellows and pinks of the blooms of over 300 species of trees at Arlington National Cemetery are a must-see for anyone visiting in the spring. On this free tour on April 17 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and April 24 from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m., you will learn about the cemetery's Memorial Arboretum, a Level III Accredited Arboretum. You'll gain insight into the urban forestry program, extensive tree collection and State Champion trees. The overall horticulture program and the variety of techniques used to create some of the most breathtaking formal and informal landscapes and gardens will also be highlighted.

Clarendon FitFest 2026 | April 18

Clarendon FitFest 2026 is a community-centered wellness event designed to promote active lifestyles, holistic health, and meaningful connections between George Mason University, Pacers, Clarendon Alliance, and the greater Arlington community. The event will feature a Pacers 5K run and 2-mile walk beginning at 8:00 a.m. and is open to participants of all ages. Clarendon FitFest is free and open to the public and will include live fitness demonstrations on the hour, interactive wellness activities, and tabling from local fitness and wellness businesses at Mason Square Plaza from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, 2026.
