Special event venues

Looking for space that's a little different?

Arlington has an array of alternative sites for meetings, receptions and other special occasions. Arlington’s hotel and business conference spaces offer the very best in technology, catering and customer service. Occasionally, however, an event requires a space that’s just a little different. Whether planning for a family reunion or party, or if that corporate retreat needs a little pizazz, Arlington also features a host of venues with amazing views.

Share a meeting space with a Tony Award®! Arlington’s Tony-winning Signature Theatre in Shirlington can accommodate groups from 50 to 650 when the theatre is dark. And Gallery Underground in Crystal City, a large, bright 3,000-square-foot open space with rotating art exhibits, is available for everything from cocktail parties and fundraisers to corporate networking events. Nearby, Synetic Theater offers its Crystal City Theater and Studio Violet for rent for both private and public events. The two spaces can house a variety of events including plays, musical or dance performances, comedy nights, talent shows, recitals, meetings, conferences, and ceremonies.

Perhaps history is of interest to a group, and Arlington spaces certainly don’t lack. The Military Women's Memorial, located at Arlington National Cemetery, is an affordable and accommodating venue with 197-seat theater, reception, conference and meeting areas. For gorgeous outdoor spaces with a bit of history, consider the Hendry House at Fort C.F. Smith Park in North Arlington. This 1,600 square-foot historic home accommodates events like board meetings and receptions of up to 100 guests.

Whether a group seeks spectacular views, inspiration from art, or just wants to have a bit of fun, Arlington’s unique event spaces can make it happen. Sports arenas, art galleries, historic sites and more – Arlington is an ideal location for meetings and events of all kinds.
