Overview

Hendry House is a restored 20th century mansion that has historic elegance in a lush green setting. The1,600 square-foot historic home accomodates up to 100; ideal for special events like small board meetings, retreats and receptions. The venue has three rooms on the main level and two upstairs.

Hendry House lets you have business meetings in a unique setting, or a wedding ceremony in front of a wisteria trellis with dancing in the house or under a tent. It’s part of Fort C.F. Smith, the 19-acre Arlington County park that includes a beautiful tree canopy, an open meadow and a partially preserved 1863 Civil War fort.

Venue rental includes an onsite staff person and allows for outside vendors can provide catering, music and photography.

Hendry House is air conditioned, wired for sound and Wi-Fi, and equipped with a full-size kitchen. The historic home features tasteful comforts for guests and upstairs suites with ample storage making last-minute preparations easy. The house is accessible to people with disabilities on the main level.

The house has a dedicated parking lot with a bus space and room for 40 cars. There are also 35 spaces on the street.
