Pupatella serves up award-winning Neapolitan-style pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven. The casual eatery started as a food truck and now has two brick and mortar locations in Arlington. Their Margherita DOC pizza was named one of the 10 best pizzas in the D.C. area by the Washington Post. Pupatella’s pizza oven is made from bricks from Mt. Vesuvius and cooks the pizza at 900+ degrees. To start, try something from the Friggitoria (fried food of Naples) menu like the arancini or fried fresh mozzarella balls. The extensive menu features a variety of red and white specialty pizzas, or you can create your own from a list of high-quality ingredients. Save room for gelato for dessert. Visit their other location in South Arlington, near Columbia Pike.
