Open to Being

Open to Being letterpress studio and shop is open by appointment and for shopping events. The space is a creative hub and boutique retail destination, where you can experience the artistry of letterpress stationery, shop a curated collection of handcrafted goods that inspire authentic connections, or participate in classes and workshops.

A highlight of the studio is the 115-year-old treadle-operated letterpress, used to print Open to Being's signature greeting cards, one at a time by hand. In addition to the premium paper goods created by artist Theresa Esterlund, the shop features a curated selection of gifts from local makers.

Open to Being is an artisanal brand offering elegant, handcrafted stationery for the heart and soul. Their fine paper goods, from premium greeting cards and journals to art prints and custom letterpress work, are minimal yet exquisite. Beautifully-rendered, heartfelt messages are designed with care to foster authentic and meaningful connection. They use premium paper and envelopes, often opting for cotton paper to enhance the impression into the paper made in the printing process and aim to use sustainable packaging whenever possible.
