Rosslyn Jazz Fest | September 10

Jazz is back in Rosslyn this milestone 30th-anniversary year! Beginning at 1 p.m. an exciting lineup of four fantastic artists will take the stage at Gateway Park. Enjoy an afternoon of food, music, and fun hosted by the Rosslyn BID in partnership with Arlington Arts.

Columbia Pike Wellness Festival | September 10

Make your way to Centro Arlington from 2-6 p.m. this September 10,  and enjoy a unique festival featuring the best local wellness companies. From gyms and fitness centers to pharmacies and physical therapists, learn all about Columbia Pike's wellness offerings. Don’t miss this inaugural event with 20+ vendors featuring live demos, free samples, live music, and more!

Clarendon Day | September 24

Clarendon Day is one of Arlington’s best-loved and most diverse street festivals, with several music stages, a large kids' area, arts and crafts vendors, business and nonprofit exhibitors from Clarendon and the region, plenty of great food from local and regional restaurants, craft beers and Virginia wines, and more. This year Clarendon Day returns on September 24 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Don't miss this signature Arlington event!

ValleyFest 2022 | September 25

Presented by New District Brewing Company, the fourth annual ValleyFest will be hosted this year on September 25. Valley Fest was conceived by area leaders who wish to foster the growing Four Mile Run Valley as a vibrant art and community hub. This area is rife with significant cultural and civic groups such as Theatre on the Run, Jane Franklin Dance, and, Arlington Cultural Affairs. Stop by to celebrate local arts with great beer, live music, food trucks,  a kids zone and more.

Catch a Show at Signature Theatre

Signature Theatre is a Tony Award®-winning, non-profit professional theater company located in Arlington's Shirlington neighborhood. Called a “musical theater powerhouse” by The Washington Post, Signature combines Broadway-caliber productions with intimate playing spaces and aims to be a leading force in U.S. musical theater. 

This month, Signature Theatre is presenting No Place to Go, referred to as "a musical ode to the unemployed", and the award-winning musical The Color Purple. Catch a show now through October for a truly unforgettable theater-going experience.

 

Hit Up an Outdoor Market

Enjoy the summer to fall transition weather and shop incredible handmade goods, fresh produce and more at any of these Arlington outdoor markets. 

Head to 2611 S Clark Street in National Landing each Saturday for a weekly market that features an extraordinary lineup of local vendors, representing cultures from around the world, selling furniture, vintage clothing, collectibles, antiques, a curated selection of jewelry, arts and crafts, outdoor cycling classes and more!

The FreshFarm Ballston Market is located in shady, tree-filled Welburn Square and offers conventional and certified organic fruits and vegetables, grass-fed meats and pastured eggs, organic milk, yogurt, ice cream, sweet and savory baked goods, Virginia-made wines, cold-pressed juices, handmade soaps and lotions, wood-fired pizza, hot-pressed sandwiches, and more. Stop by every Thursday from 3-7 p.m. 

Shop local and fresh every week from May through October in downtown Rosslyn! The market is open every Wednesday from 3-7 p.m. at Central Place Plaza, brought to you in partnership with FreshFarm, a non-profit that promotes sustainable agriculture and improves food access and equity in the mid-Atlantic region.

Hang at the Park

Listen to live music, catch a movie and enjoy the beauty of Arlington's lush parks this September. Join the National Landing BID for NaLa Fridays at the Park taking place at Long Bridge Park starting at 5 p.m every Friday in September. Enjoy an outdoor concert series featuring local bands and musicians, as well as a variety of food trucks. 


Don't miss the chance to watch some family-friendly movies at the park this month! The National Landing BID is also hosting Movies at the Park at Virginia Highlands Park every Friday starting at 6 p.m. With titles such as Ready Player One, Raya and the Last Dragon and more this is the perfect event to gather the whole family for a fun evening!
