Capital Pride Festival
Join the LGBTQ+ community on America’s Mainstreet, historic Pennsylvania Avenue, for the Capital Pride Festival, one of the largest annual events in the national capital region. Enjoy a full day of entertainment on three stages from international headliners to local and regional LGBTQ+ talent during the Capital Pride Concert. Satisfy your taste buds and quench your thirst in two food courts and three beverage gardens. Engage with more than 300 exhibitors from social, business, sports, educational, government and faith-based organizations. And bring your children to the family-friendly zone in Stead Park for face painting, balloon art, games and other fun family activities.
Capital Pride Parade
March in the 1.5-mile Capital Pride Parade that honors LGBTQ+ neighborhoods in Washington, DC. Cool off after the parade with sipping, splashing, music and light appetizers at the Trans Pride Pool Party hosted by DC’s VIDA Fitness and Penthouse Pool Club.
Capital Pride Block Party
Wear out your dancing shoes to vibes from local DJs and performers at the Capital Pride Block Party along historic 17th Street and at ReMix!, featuring four unique dance floors at City Winery.
Capital Pride Honors
Applaud the Capital Pride Honors recipients, those outstanding individuals, leaders and activists who have tirelessly contributed to advocacy, outreach, education and programming important to the LGBTQ+ community.
Night of Queer Expression
Let your voice be heard at the annual OUT Spoken: A Night of Queer Expression event, which welcomes professional spoken-word performers as well as open-mic rookies at Busboys and Poets, a DC restaurant.
