Welcome to Arlington!
On behalf of the mEducation Alliance (mEA) and the other co-hosts of the 16th annual Marvelous Education Alliance Symposium, we are delighted to welcome you to Arlington County, Virginia.
Situated directly across the Potomac River from Washington, D.C., Arlington offers visitors a mix of big-city excitement and small-town charm. It boasts dazzling high-rises and iconic landmarks, lush green spaces and lively streetscapes, global dining and hip nightlife — all just steps from the nation’s capital. A close-knit and welcoming community, Arlington's 26 square miles are home to an array of vibrant, walkable neighborhoods conveniently located on the region's Metro system, plus an incredible variety of things to do.
The Marvelous Education Alliance!
We invite you to join us at Mason Fuse, part of George Mason University's Arlington campus, in a global celebration of MARVELOUS education initiatives, programs, and champions. Our presenters and attendees will include those with organizations that are part of mEA networks and from other institutions who want to share their own experiences, particularly working in K-12 education systems in lower-resource settings.
As with our past highly participatory events (see our 2025 Symposium page), this year's event will bring together approximately 250 attendees from for- and non-profit organizations, national governments, other donor and development agencies, funders, and researchers.
Presentation Proposals:
