Join us on a curated walk to hear from a transportation engineer and learn about street design in Rosslyn.
About this event
WalkArlington presents a summer series of walk and learn opportunities to engage with some of Arlington’s experts and cool people.
On this walk, Dan Nabors, transportation engineer, will demonstrate how planning and engineering influence your everyday experience and enjoyment of sidewalks, land use, and street connectivity.
Dan Nabors is the Assistant Bureau Chief for Arlington County’s Transportation Engineering and Operations Bureau and a dynamic speaker who explains complex topics simply and clearly (we’ve seen him in action before!) so come ready to have fun and learn. He’ll be joined by staff from the Rosslyn Business Improvement District (BID), who have collaborated with him on several recent projects.
NEED TO KNOW
Free cold drinks will be provided at the start of the walk courtesy of WalkArlington.
MEET US THERE
Look for our group near the Rosslyn Metro exit on Central Place Plaza. We'll be near the McDonald's and the Rosslyn Farmers Market.
