The Angie
Overview
From the team behind Balos Estiatorio and Bar Angie, Stefanos Vouvoudakis, Tom Tsiplakos and Joe Ragonese brings a new dining experience to the heart of Ballston. One that combines exceptional food, genuine hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere designed for every day.
While sharing the same commitment to quality and service that has made our sister restaurants favorites throughout the region, The Angie offers its own distinctive identity. Inspired by the timeless charm of a traditional French brasserie with modern American influence, our menu celebrates handcrafted dishes made from the finest ingredients, classic techniques, and flavors that are both familiar and elevated. From fresh seafood and premium steaks to house-made pastas, vibrant salads, and comforting bistro classics, every plate is thoughtfully prepared and meant to be enjoyed any day of the week.
At the heart of The Angie is one of Ballston's largest bars, featuring handcrafted cocktails, a thoughtfully curated wine list, and a welcoming space that transitions effortlessly from a casual lunch to happy hour, dinner, or a late-evening drink with friends.
Our day begins at 7:00 AM with Café Forfive, serving expertly roasted coffee, espresso drinks, fresh pastries, and breakfast for commuters, neighbors, and early risers. Beginning at 11:30 AM every day, The Angie welcomes guests for lunch, happy hour, dinner, and weekend brunch, creating a seamless all-day destination for the community.
More than a restaurant, The Angie was built to be Ballston's neighborhood gathering place we here locals can stop in for their morning coffee, meet colleagues for lunch, enjoy cocktails after work, celebrate life's milestones, or simply make us part of their daily routine.
So, who is “Angie”?
“Angie is all of us,” says Vouvoudakis. “She's enjoying a leisurely brunch with exquisitely prepared food and beverages on the patio or she's catching up with friends over a dirty martini at the bar. She’s worldly, chic and fun, just like our guests.”
