Fort Ethan Allen Park
Overview
Fort Ethan Allen Park has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places by the United States Department of the Interior. Fort Ethan Allen was built by the Union Army in 1861 to defend Washington during the Civil War. The remains of Fort Ethan Allen are still standing today.
The historic 15-acre park also has a community center, playground, basketball court and multi-use fields. Additional amenities include a gazebo and interpretive panels.
