Rosslyn LIVE: Drag Show | June 3
Join the Rosslyn BID for their Rosslyn LIVE: Drag Show on June 3, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Gateway Park for an evening of fun and individuality featuring drag queen Shi-Queeta Lee and her all-star ensemble.
Be the 'eye' in Pride - Artist Talk with Lisa Marie Thalhammer | June 3
Arlington County welcomes all to an artist talk with renowned artist Lisa Marie Thalhammer on June 3 at 11:00 a.m. Thalhammer's mural design at Bozman Government Center Plaza, featuring a rainbow "eye," symbolizes visibility and inclusivity.
THE INVISIBLE SKATE THEORY: An Exhibition on Belonging, Visibility & Skateboarding Culture | Beginning June 4
The Invisible Skate Theory traces the often-unseen networks that connect women, nonbinary, and queer skaters across geography, identity, and digital space. Centered in the DMV (DC-Maryland-Virginia) skateboarding community, the exhibition at Mason Exhibitions in Virginia Square, explores how connection, culture-building, and resistance take shape in a scene long dominated by cis-male voices — and how those pushed to the margins have built new maps by necessity.
Equality in Business: A Pride Month Breakfast Connection | June 5
Start your day right on June 5 at 8:00 a.m. with a vibrant mix of great food and even better connections. The Arlington Chamber's signature speed networking format gives you the chance to meet a variety of DC- area professionals, exchange business cards, and build valuable relationships – all before your workday begins!
Hedwig and the Angry Inch Pride Night | June 6 and June 20
Special showings of Hedwig and the Angry Inch, put on by Signature Theatre, for members of the LGBTQ community, family and friends with a lively post-show reception! Hilarious and heartbreaking, with an electrifying score, this queer anthem cult classic celebrates surviving against all odds.

Summer Nights Live at Westpost | June 5, 12, 19, 26
Enjoy live music every Thursday in June from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Westpost plaza. Grab a bite, sip a drink, and enjoy the summer tunes!
Lubber Run Summer Concert Series | Returns June 6
The Lubber Run Summer Concert Series features free performances from a variety of genres at the sylvan venue nestled two blocks off Route 50. The Arlington Players present "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown" to open the summer series! Based on The Comic Strip Peanuts by Charles M. Schulz, this beloved musical is perfect for children at heart and kids of all ages.
Jazz @ Met | Thursdays through June 12
Enjoy the return of Jazz at Metropolitan Park with a free, weekly concert presented by the DC Jazz Festival and National Landing BID. Ease into the evening with musical performances at one of National Landing’s newest park spaces, each Thursday through June 12 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Columbia Pike Blues Festival | June 14

Ballston Employee Appreciation Day | June 17
Do you work in Ballston? Join the Ballston BID for an employee appreciation celebration at Ballston Quarter on June 17 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for live music, food discounts, crafts, and special giveaways.
Friday Night Concert Series at Water Park | Fridays
National Landing Water Park is hosting a series of live performances every Friday in June from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Get ready for live music from talented local bands, food vendors, lawn games, and an array of beverage options to keep the good times flowing!

Armed Forces Cycling Classic | June 1
A weekend of professional and amateur racing, the annual Armed Forces Cycling Classic, held in Arlington at the beginning of June, is the capital region's premier biking event. Billed as “where champions come to compete since 1998,” the events offer opportunities for cyclists of all abilities to participate. Kids 9 and under even have races, organized by age and experience level.
Trail Tuesday with Friends of the Mount Vernon Trail | Tuesdays
Join the Friends of Mount Vernon Trail (FoMVT) to improve the Mount Vernon Trail Tuesdays at 5:00 p.m. in Rosslyn! Volunteers will remove vegetation, pick up trash, and remove ivy from the fence near the entrance of the trail.
Wind Down Wednesdays | June 4 and June 18

2nd Annual Juneteenth Community Day | June 19
This family-friendly event in Met Park commemorates the emancipation of Africans who were enslaved and honors African American culture and heritage. Join Challenging Racism, the Arlington Coalition of Black Clergy, Arlington Historical Society, Black Heritage Museum of Arlington, NAACP Arlington Branch, and more on June 19 at 4:00 p.m. to honor and celebrate the strength, determination, resilience, and integrity of those who weathered in the pursuit of liberation and freedom!
Juneteenth at WHINO | June 19
Join WHINO on June 19 at 4:00 p.m. as they highlight wines and cocktails crafted by Black-owned wineries and distilleries. Celebrate the rich heritage and contributions of Black artisans in the beverage industry with every sip.
Juneteenth Book Discussion | June 23
Best known for "The Invisible Man," Ellison is an incisive writer who described the social invisibility of African Americans and the ambiguous legacies of emancipation. Come out to the Cherrydale Library to think about the meaning of the Juneteenth holiday together, through the lens of Ellison's second novel, on June 23 at 6:30 p.m.

Artist-Led Workshop: Sculpting Concrete and the Art Deco Legacy | June 2
Come out to MoCA's Innovation Studio in National Landing on June 2 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. for an artist-led workshop where you'll explore fun ways to manipulate concrete as a material, from body casting, rubber molds, to free hand sculpting.
Signature Theatre: The Untitled Unauthorized Hunter S. Thompson Musical | Beginning June 3
Let’s get wild in this exciting new musical (DC premiere) about the infamous author from the mind of Joe Iconis (Be More Chill) and directed by Tony Award winner Christopher Ashley (Come from Away). A collision of politics, counterculture and rock and roll in human form, Hunter S. Thompson is impossible to pin down. Careening from the 1940s to 2005, Thompson invents Gonzo journalism, attempts to take down a corrupt president, and quests for equality for his fellow weirdos, outsiders and freaks. Yoga in the Galleries | Saturdays
