Serving only 100% wood-smoked BBQ, our meats are smoked for 12-hours for that fallin' off the bone wood flavor. We serve sandwiches and platters of mouth waterin' moist prime brisket, pulled pork, ribs, chicken, turkey, and house-made sausage, our signature sweet-hot pickles, and your choice of Sloppy Mama's sauces on top. Plus, sides like your Mama would have cooked - cornbread, collard greens, mac-n-cheese, potato salad, and more.
Their Story:
Mandy and Joe Neuman founded Sloppy Mama’s BBQ in the summer of 2014. The couple catered their own wedding several years before, a proper pig picking, in the style of the pig pickings from years spent in Southern Virginia. From the catered wedding, family and friends started asking for pig roasts of their own. They bought a food truck and set out to make the best BBQ they could with one goal in mind…making people happy!
