Mattie & Eddie's, is an Irish Bar Restaurant serving the Northern Virginia and DC market. They specialize in authentic, Irish food, drink and hospitality.

"My grandparents, Martha and Edward Armstrong, were born and lived in an area of Dublin known as the Liberties. They raised a family of six brilliant people in a small 3 bedroom house on Ingram Road. They made curtains by hand for a living but their lives revolved around food. We had some of the best times you could imagine, cramped in their living room, around the oval table, eating and laughing. Nana and Granda, as we called them, were truly the best people anyone could have hoped for as role models. We miss them but I hope to pay some homage to their spirit here."
