The Arlington Convention and Visitors Service will be conducting its fourth and final major photo/video shoot in Arlington neighborhoods Tuesday through Thursday, April 23 - 25 and WE NEED YOU! Please help us show off your favorite Arlington travel experiences in a professional photo/video shoot for tourism marketing. There’s no better way to show the best of Arlington than with real people having real fun around the County!

How do I sign up?
Click on this link and add your name for one or more shooting times/locations. Time slots will range from 2-3 hours.

What if I can’t stay the entire time? Any time commitments you can make of at least one hour will be helpful.

Can I bring my family or significant other? Most of the shoot locations are ideally situated for couples, families and friends, so the more the merrier. Please reach out to Scott Baker to provide the names of any others you'd like to join you.

Will I be paid to participate? There is no separate payment for joining the shoot. You will need to confirm with your supervisor that you are approved to use Regular Hours to participate. Additionally, neither OT nor Volunteer Hours can be used for this purpose. Alternatively, you are also welcome to join on your personal time.

Where will the photos and video B-roll be used? The Arlington Convention and Visitors Service will use the photo/video assets in an array of print and digital advertising channels to attract leisure, business and meeting visitors to Arlington. Here is :30 sec video that was created from one of our previous shoots. The assets will also be shared with Arlington County departments for them to use for internal and external purposes.

What will I do during the shoot? A professional photographer, videographer and creative director will guide participants at each location. A wide variety of scenes will be captured of people enjoying activities like dining, listening to music, experiencing a park or playground, shopping, etc. Depending on the scene and your preference, you may be in the foreground or the background of shots.

Additional details for shoot? If you sign up for one or more time slots, you’ll soon receive an email with specific details on where to be, what to wear, and other relevant information for the shoot.
