It's part culinary fest, part concert and part pet extravaganza. The Taste of Arlington is certainly all about the food.
The Ballston Business Improvement District’s Taste of Arlington showcases the diversity of Arlington’s food scene and attracts nearly 40,000 food lovers from all over the region. This year, more than 60 of Arlington’s favorite restaurants and most exciting chefs will serve up their specialties at the festival, which will be held Sunday, May 20. This family-friendly festival transforms the Ballston neighborhood for the day with plenty of dining, music and entertainment for all ages.
In addition to the food festivities, the KidZone will feature tables for budding entreprenuers to showcase their talents and skills, and there will be live music performances and DJ! Adults should be sure to stop by the Beer & Wine Garden area with a wide assortment of beers, ales, wines and bubbly featuring 20 local breweries and wineries. And of course, there's the BarkPark for the four-legged members of the family, featuring a pop up dog park where you may let your dog off the leash to make new friends at Taste of Arlington!
Admission to Taste of Arlington is free, but tickets are needed to sample food, beverages and play certain games in the KidZone offering painting, activities and the Washington Wizards and Capitals inflatable games at The Arlington Arts Center.
