Nauck & Four Mile Run
The Nauck Village Center Special Revitalization District forms the core of the Nauck community and the first phase of an evolving larger Nauck/Shirlington/Four Mile Run
revitalization and redevelopment concept. The Village Center will be a 25-acre pedestrian oriented, mixed use area, with a predominance of medium density residential and
local retail development focused around a Town Square.

The Townes of Shirlington
|
The Nauck Village Center Action Plan was approved by the Arlington County Board in July 2004. It sets in place the planning, regulatory, implementation and economic
incentive framework for development of the Village Center. The first project approved was the Townes of Shirlington, consisting of
12 condominium townhomes and 5,800 square feet of street-level retail facing Shirlington Road.
A second residential development, Shirlington Crest, located close to S. Four Mile Run Drive, is being developed by Stanley Martin Companies. This is a by-right project
consisting of 171 luxury townhomes. The first units will be ready to deliver in the summer of 2007.
Another project in Nauck is an AHC Inc. project called The Shelton. The Shelton is a 94-unit affordable apartment being built on south Shirlington Road and South 24th Street.
The Bowman's Hill Luxury Townhomes project consists of 20 townhomes constructed on South 25th Street. The developmer was McShay homes. This was a by-right project and has been completed.
