Information Collection and Use

Arlington Economic Development (AED) is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. AED will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. AED collects information from our users at several different points on our website.

Photo and Information Use Policy

Any person is hereby authorized to browse the AED Web site for informational purposes. Photography and information may be printed or downloaded from the Web site for non-commercial, personal use only, provided all copyright and copyrights and other proprietary notices contained on the material are retained. No person may, however, sell, distribute, modify, transmit, reuse, repost, use or create derivative works based on the content of the Web site in whole or part for any purpose without the written permission from AED or the owner of such content in each instance.

Registration

In order to use some services on this Web site, a user must first complete a registration form. This information is used to contact the user about the services on our site for which they have expressed interest. Newsletter

If a user wishes to subscribe to our newsletters, AED asks for contact information such as name and e-mail address.

Surveys & Contests

Occasionally, our site requests information from users via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as zip code, age level). Contact information will be used to notify the winners and award prizes. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site.
