The Festival Argentino USA 2013 is a festival celebrating “Folklore, Tango, Expositors, Arts, Literature, Tourism & Business.”
The Festival Argentino USA 2013 celebrates the May Revolution of 1810 with a spectacular show for the whole family featuring folk music, tango, dance with the rest of Latin America. Performing artists include:
MC’s Mario Martinez y Palacios and Patricia Romiti
Mariana Cayon and Los Ceibales Festival de Cosquín “Fusión folklore”
Esteban Córdoba acclaimed pop singer
Osvaldo & Adela Danzas Argentinas
Cristian Pérez Argentine Guitarrist and composer
Also featured is an exhibition that showcases music, arts and crafts, truco, jewelry makers, tourism, silence auction of Emilio Mignone’s book, and sketches by illustrator César Carrizo "Afiche".
The festival opens at 4pm at the Thomas Jefferson Theater and the performances run from 5:45pm until 10:30pm.
There is free parking, as well as easy metro and bus access (Ballston Metro and Bus Routes 10B/23A.)
